Open Source (OS) Web Content Management System (WCMS) testing time… I do this every year once, when I have some spare time :-)
After consulting the OS WCMS Portal: www.opensourcecms.com I started testing Joomla, then after having used a bit the back-end switched to a rather new CMS which is called Typolight (it has nothing to-do with Typo3) witch indeed has a better back-end but wasn’t quite what I was looking for either. Then I gave b2evolution (multi-lingual) a try, but seemed to much for my needs. Finally I installed WordPress. I have to say the whole installation process worked very quick and without any issues on my web-server (Cyon) but-later, installing all the plug-ins was quite time consuming.
