Avocado in Bolivia

Yes we do LOVE the Avocado fruit and if locally available would eat it every day. While living in Samaipata we had plenty of Avocados available and depending of the original also a very wide variety of them. Usually we created a avocado-based salad or dip called Guacamole.

Papaya

Actually Btina and myself don’t really enjoy pure Papaya but there are so many great health benefits which have motivated us to include it into our daily eating habits – if locally available.

Bananas in Bolivia

It’s not a secret that Btina and myself love Bananas. So this blog post is dedicated to the lovely Banana fruit or technically speaking the banana berry :-) Visually speaking there are green, yellow and red Bananas and maybe even in some additional flavors.

Plumeria flower

The sub tropical weather seems to be very well minded to the plumeria flower plant then they grow very well here in Paraguay, south america. The plumeria is a genus of flowering plants in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. It contains primarily deciduous shrubs and small trees.
